Tecnoeka Er2 Error Code
Core probe / sensor connection fault – alarm buzzer sounds
Source: Tecnoeka/Tecnoeka_EKF-1111-EV-UD-GB-REV-5_InstructionManual_CommercialKitchen.pdf
What does Tecnoeka Er2 mean?
Er2 appears with a buzzer that sounds for 30 seconds when the connection between the cooking cell sensor and the electronic board is interrupted, or when the core pin probe is damaged. Press the START/STOP key to stop the buzzer. The cycle only continues if a cooking time has been set, since the oven can no longer rely on probe-based control.

Diagnostic steps
Silence the buzzer
Press the START/STOP key to stop the 30-second alarm buzzer once Er2 is displayed.
Switch to timed cooking if needed
The cycle only continues when a cooking time has been set, so use a timed cycle rather than core-probe cooking until the fault is resolved.
Isolate and inspect
Turn off the appliance at the upstream safety switch and let it cool, then check the cooking cell sensor to electronic board connection.
Call a qualified technician
If the connection is intact, the core pin probe is likely damaged; have a qualified technician repair or replace it.
When to call a professional
Call a qualified technician if Er2 returns after restoring the sensor connection, because the manual lists a damaged core pin probe as a cause that needs repair. Opening the oven to test the probe and board connections is service work that must be carried out by a trained engineer with the appliance isolated at the upstream switch and fully cooled.
