What does ACiQ PC0F mean?
PC0F is a PFC (Power Factor Correction) module protection fault. The outdoor PCB detects that the PFC signal is at low voltage, or that the DC bus voltage is lower than 340V for 6 seconds during a quick check. This protects the power-conversion stage and points to the PFC connection, inductance, or power boards.
Symptoms
- PC0F shown on the display
- Outdoor unit trips on protection
- Compressor will not run normally
- Low DC bus voltage detected during quick check
Common causes
- Loose connection between the main board and PFC module
- Faulty PFC inductance
- Faulty PFC circuit or IPM module board
- Faulty outdoor main board

Diagnostic steps
Check the PFC connection
Verify the connecting line between the main board and the PFC module is tight, and confirm normal operation.
Measure the bus voltage
Measure whether the voltage between P and N is normal per the index; if it is, replace the outdoor main board.
Check the inductance
Test the PFC module inductance; a good inductance shows about 0 ohms across its two ports, otherwise replace it.
Replace the PFC module
If the inductance and connections are good but the fault remains, replace the PFC module.
When to call a professional
PC0F involves the high-voltage DC bus and PFC power stage, where capacitors retain dangerous charge after power-off and must be fully discharged before any measurement. Always contact a licensed HVAC technician for PC0F; measuring P-N bus voltage and replacing the PFC module, inductance, or main board on these inverter condensers must be performed by a qualified professional with proper precautions.
