Everlasting Pr1 Error Code
Refrigerated compartment (chamber) probe fault
Source: Everlasting/User Manuals/Master - Classic - Professional - Roll-in _ Roll-through.pdf
What does Everlasting Pr1 mean?
Pr1 means the temperature controller has lost a usable reading from the cell (chamber) probe that measures the internal cabinet temperature. The manual states the internal probe is damaged. Because the controller can no longer regulate on a real temperature, the compressor keeps running on a fixed duty cycle instead of holding the set point, so storage temperature is no longer guaranteed.
Symptoms
- Pr1 shown on the controller display, alternating with the cabinet temperature
- Alarm LED lit and the buzzer sounding
- Compressor runs on a fixed on/off duty cycle rather than to set point
- Internal temperature drifts away from the configured set point
Common causes
- Cell/chamber probe (internal probe) failed or out of range
- Probe wire broken, pinched, or disconnected from the controller
- Corroded or loose probe connector at the controller terminals
- Moisture or physical damage to the probe inside the cabinet

Diagnostic steps
Confirm the code
Read the display: it alternates the active alarm (Pr1) with the cabinet temperature until the fault clears. Note that the compressor is running on a safety duty cycle, not to set point.
Inspect the probe wiring
Power down and check the cell probe lead for breaks, pinching, or a loose connector at the controller terminals. Reseat any connection that is loose.
Check probe placement
Verify the cell probe is secured in its correct position inside the compartment and is not damaged or submerged in condensate.
Protect the load
Because temperature is no longer controlled accurately, move perishable product to working storage until the probe is repaired.
Contact technical support
The manual directs that a damaged probe be handled by authorized service; arrange probe replacement with the dealer or technical support.
When to call a professional
Call Everlasting technical support or your authorized dealer if the wiring and connector checks do not clear Pr1, because the manual identifies the internal probe as damaged and reserves probe replacement and electrical repair for authorized specialist personnel. While the code is active the cabinet runs on a duty cycle and cannot guarantee storage temperature, so do not rely on it for food safety until a technician restores probe control.
