What does Electrolux Professional CSOt mean?

CSOt means the SkyLine oven's cavity SSR NTC (NTC3) has detected an over-temperature at the solid-state relay, and the appliance stops. It is typically an airflow or cooling problem — a dirty inlet filter, a failing cooling fan, or warm air being drawn in — rather than the cooking cavity itself overheating. The oven should be kept on so it can cool.

Symptoms

  • CSOt displayed and the appliance stops
  • Over-temperature at the cavity SSR (NTC3)
  • Often follows a dirty inlet air filter
  • May occur near other hot appliances

Common causes

  • Inlet air filter dirty
  • Cooling fan failure
  • Cooling inlet drawing warm or hot air
  • Oven installed beside a hot appliance
  • Steam or heat leakage into the electronic compartment

Diagnostic steps

  1. Do not switch the oven off

Keep the oven on and wait for the temperature to decrease.

  2. Clean the inlet air filter

Clean the inlet air filter to restore cooling airflow.

  3. Check the cooling airflow

Use a thin strip of paper at the cooling air inlet to confirm a consistent air flow; if none, call Service.

  4. Check the surrounding heat

Check whether inlet cooling air is affected by heat from nearby hot appliances and stop those if needed.

  5. Call Service if it persists

If the error persists, call Service.

When to call a professional

Staff can address CSOt by cleaning the filter and improving cooling airflow. Call an Electrolux Professional engineer if no airflow is detected at the inlet, the cooling fan appears failed, or the alarm persists after these checks. A cooling-fan fault or steam leakage into the electronic compartment is an internal repair, and continued SSR over-temperature can damage the relay electronics.
