Electrolux Professional EtUC Error Code

Cavity over-temperature (recoverable)

Source: Electrolux Professional 3/UM_05UMC13_ENG01_SKLOVN_1_5_1_1_EPR_UMG_SkyLineOvens_ENG_20250617.pdf

What does Electrolux Professional EtUC mean?

EtUC indicates the SkyLine oven cavity has reached an over-temperature condition and the oven has stopped. Unlike the safety-switch alarm, this one is recoverable: once the cavity cools, a new cooking cycle can be started. It is typically linked to a dirty cavity, an incorrect parameter, or a very cold room at start-up.

Symptoms

  • EtUC displayed and the oven stops
  • Cavity temperature higher than expected
  • Cooking resumes once the cavity has cooled
  • May appear after start-up in a cold room

Common causes

  • Cavity is dirty and retaining heat
  • Parameter COT set too low
  • Room temperature below 5 degrees C at start-up

Diagnostic steps

  1. Launch a cooling cycle

Start a cooling cycle to bring the cavity temperature down quickly.

  2. Open the door if needed

If a cooling cycle is not possible, open the door and let the oven cool down.

  3. Clean the cavity

Remove residue so the chamber no longer traps excess heat.

  4. Restart cooking once cool

When the temperature drops it is possible to launch a new cooking cycle.

  5. Call Service if it reappears

If the error shows up again after cooling and cleaning, call Service.

When to call a professional

If EtUC keeps reappearing after the cavity has cooled and been cleaned, contact an Electrolux Professional service centre. A repeating over-temperature alarm can mean the COT parameter is wrong or a sensor is misreading, both of which require service-level access. Persistent alarms should not be ignored, as they indicate the oven is repeatedly exceeding safe cavity temperatures.
