What does Electrolux Professional EntC mean?

EntC indicates a failure of the NTC temperature sensor that monitors the SkyLine oven's electronic component compartment. The oven stops because it can no longer track the temperature around its electronics. The manual notes the electronic board temperature sensor is damaged and cooking is impossible until it is repaired.

Symptoms

  • EntC displayed and the oven stops
  • Cooking impossible
  • Component-compartment temperature not read
  • Electronic board temperature sensor flagged as damaged

Common causes

  • Connector failure
  • TC sensor failure
  • ACU failure

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Stop using the oven

Cooking is impossible with this alarm, so take the oven out of service.

  2. 02

    Note the sensor fault

The electronic board temperature sensor is reported damaged, which is an internal component.

  3. 03

    Do not bypass the alarm

Because it protects the electronics, the alarm should not be worked around.

  4. 04

    Call Service

The manual directs the user to call Service to repair the sensor.

When to call a professional

Call an Electrolux Professional service centre immediately for EntC, as cooking is impossible and the alarm protects the oven's electronics from overheating. The NTC sensor, its connector and the ACU control board are internal electrical parts that require trained replacement. Attempting to run the oven without the compartment temperature sensor risks damage to the control electronics, so professional repair is mandatory.
