What does Krupps AL-03 mean?

AL-03 on a Krupps dishwasher indicates a faulty tank probe: the tank probe does not seem to be connected — it is interrupted or shorted.

Symptoms

• ALARM light flashing on the control panel
• 'AL' on the left digit LEDs with the code on the right
• Cycle start button shows red (alarm state)
• Tank temperature not read correctly
• Wash performance affected because tank temperature is unknown

Common causes

• Tank probe not connected to the power board
• Tank probe wiring interrupted (open circuit)
