Most HVAC techs we talk to have already tried ChatGPT for error codes, equipment specs, or repair steps. The honest answer is: it works, sometimes. The problem is you can't tell when it's hallucinating model numbers or giving you a refrigerant charge that's three years out of date. We built AskWhiz because field techs don't have time to fact-check the assistant.
