What does Accutemp Err mean?

On the AccuTemp XLR8 heated platen, the digital control shows "Err" when the control board cannot detect a temperature sensor connection. The platen uses three RTD sensors (front, middle and back) wired to control-board terminals J3, J4 and J5.

What does Accutemp OVERTEMP mean?

The OVERTEMP warning light on an AccuTemp Evolution steamer means the steamer has overheated. The most common reason is that it ran out of water, so the heating element kept driving temperature up with no water to boil.
