Carel E12

What does Carel E12 mean?

E12 on Carel ir33 and pCO controllers indicates that serial probe S12 has stopped sending valid data updates over the serial bus. Like E11, this causes the controller to fall back to duty-cycle operation (parameter c4) for any function dependent on S12. The alarm is automatic and resets when communication with S12 is restored.

Symptoms

• E12 flashes on the display alternating with the temperature.
• Control functions relying on S12 switch to duty-cycle fallback.
