What does Unox AM01 mean?

AM01 is a chamber temperature probe alarm on the Slowtop accessory. The probe measuring the Slowtop chamber temperature has failed or is disconnected, so the Slowtop stops to avoid uncontrolled heating. The main oven can still be used while the Slowtop is in alarm.

Symptoms

• AM01 shown referencing the Slowtop
• Slowtop will not heat or hold temperature
• Implausible chamber temperature reading

Diagnostic steps

   Power down and check the probe

   Turn off power and confirm the Slowtop chamber probe is connected.

   Check the wiring between the probe and the Slowtop board.

   Replace the probe

   Replace the temperature probe if it is out of specification and retest.
