What does Unox WL02 mean?

WL02 is a power board over-temperature alarm on the prover accessory. The prover's power board is running too hot. As a warning the prover continues with reduced function while flagging the overheating electronics, usually a cooling or installation issue.

Symptoms

  • WL02 warning referencing the prover
  • Prover power board running hot
  • Warning during extended use
  • Warning clears as the board cools

Common causes

  • Inadequate cooling of the power board
  • High ambient temperature around the prover
  • Cooling airflow issue
  • Power board fault

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Allow cooling

    Let the prover cool and check whether the warning clears.

  2. 02

    Check cooling airflow

    Verify cooling airflow over the board and adequate clearance around the prover.

  3. 03

    Check the installation

    Confirm the prover is installed per the manual with proper ventilation.

  4. 04

    Service the board

    If overheating persists with correct cooling, have the power board checked and replaced if faulty.
