What does Convotherm E01 mean?

The oven's error diagnosis system has detected that not enough water is reaching the unit. The combi needs an adequate water supply for steam generation and condensing, so the control stops normal operation and displays E01 until the supply is restored.

What does Convotherm E02 mean?

E02 indicates the temperature in the oven's connection area has risen too high. According to the manual this is caused by a connection area ventilation fault or blocked air supply.

What does Convotherm E03 mean?

E03 reports a fan malfunction. The manual lists the motor temperature monitor being triggered, an external failsafe being triggered, or a fan motor fault as the conditions behind this code.

How do I access the Convotherm service mode for fault history?

Enter Convotherm service mode by pressing and holding the top-left and top-right buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. When prompted, enter the service PIN (default: 7777). Navigate to Error Log to see the last 20 fault events with date and time. Service mode also provides individual component test functions for methodical fault diagnosis.

How do I reset a Convotherm 4 after E-Stop?

After an emergency stop or safety trip on Convotherm 4: allow the oven to cool to below 60°C, then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to restart. If the fault condition was temperature-related, the oven will not restart until the over-temperature thermostat (manual reset type) is physically reset — access it through the service panel at the rear of the unit.
