What does Manitowoc Ice E15 mean?
Code E15 is the fan-cycle-control fault: during the freeze cycle the liquid-line temperature dropped below 60°F for a continuous period exceeding one minute.
Symptoms
- E15 logged, often in cold rooms or cold weather
- Weak harvest (not enough hot gas) and possible long harvests
- Condenser fan running continuously even when the machine is cold
Common causes
- Fan-cycle control stuck closed (fan always on)
- Very low ambient at the condenser
- Control out of spec versus its cut-in/cut-out pressures
