What does Manitowoc Ice E19 mean?
Code E19 is the ice-thickness-probe (ITP) fault: the frequencies the board monitors from the probe are out of the appropriate range, which the handbook attributes to the probe being unplugged or a problem with its microphone element. Without a working probe the machine cannot tell when the slab is ready to harvest.
Symptoms
- E19 logged; harvests triggered late, early or not at all
- Ice slabs unusually thick or thin
- Probe cable visibly loose after cleaning

- Probe unplugged (often after cleaning/service)
- Probe fouled with scale
- Failed probe (microphone element)
