What does Coreco AH1 mean?

On the Coreco controller (Carel RTN400), AH1 is hIGH temperature alarm 1: value read by probe 1 exceeds HA1 after time set in tA1; label AH1 recorded in folder ALr; no effect on control.

Symptoms

  • Display/record shows AH1 in the ALr alarm folder
  • Cabinet warmer than intended
  • No direct effect on control (alarm is signalled)

Common causes

  • Door openings / hot load
  • Dirty condenser or restricted airflow
  • Refrigeration fault (low charge, failing compressor/fan)
  • Alarm threshold/delay set too tight

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Confirm the high-temperature condition

AH1 means the probe exceeded its HA threshold after the alarm delay. Note the temperature.

  2. 02

    Review thresholds and cooling

Check HA/tA thresholds, doors, loading and a clean condenser.
