Coreco dOr Error Code
Open-door alarm from the door-switch digital input
Source: Coreco_easy_compact_eng_termostatos.pdf
What does Coreco dOr mean?
On the Coreco controller (Carel easy / easy compact), dOr is the open-door alarm, generated when the multifunction digital input is configured as a door switch (parameter A4=7 or A4=8). After a pre-alarm time (A7 or d8) the controller continuously signals the door is open, flashing dOr alternating with the temperature. The alarm resets automatically when the door is closed (or by switching the controller off with the UP button).
Symptoms
- Display shows dOr flashing alternating with the temperature
- Buzzer sounds at the end of the pre-alarm
- Evaporator fan stops during the pre-alarm (and with A4=8 the compressor too)
- LEDs and temperature display flash during the pre-alarm
- Rising cabinet temperature while the door stays open
Common causes
- Cabinet door left open beyond the pre-alarm time (A7 or d8)
- Door not closing fully or a misaligned door seal
- Door switch / contact stuck or faulty
- Wiring fault on the door-switch digital input
- Incorrect A4 (7 or 8) / A7 / d8 configuration

Diagnostic steps
Close the door
dOr is the open-door alarm and resets automatically when the door is closed. Shut the cabinet door fully and confirm the alarm clears.
Mute the buzzer
Press SET to silence the buzzer; the dOr message remains until the door is closed.
Check the multifunction input and parameters
Verify the door-switch wiring and parameters A4 and A7 — A4=7/8 sets the input as a door switch and A7 (or d8) sets the pre-alarm time.
Inspect the door and switch
Make sure the door closes fully and the seal seats correctly, then confirm the door switch reports closed (contact closed) when shut and open when ajar.
Reset if needed
If the door is shut but dOr persists, the alarm can also be reset by switching the controller off (press UP for 3 s); on power-up with the door still open the pre-alarm time starts counting again.
When to call a professional
If the door is fully closed and the seal is sound but dOr will not clear, the door switch or its wiring is likely at fault. Access to the cabinet's electrical parts is reserved for qualified personnel, so have a qualified technician test and, if needed, replace the door switch and verify the A4/A7/d8 settings.

Other Coreco Error Codes
Control probe (probe 1) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Evaporator / defrost probe (probe 2) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Condenser / product probe (probe 3) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Immediate or delayed alarm from the multifunction digital input (external alarm)
Low-temperature alarm — measured temperature below set point by more than parameter AL
High-temperature alarm — measured temperature above set point by more than parameter AH
Unit parameter reading (data) error — saved configuration data error
Operating parameter reading (data) error — manual reset
Defrost ended by timeout — last defrost stopped on maximum duration, not on temperature
Defrost running — status message shown during a defrost cycle (not an alarm)
Dirty-condenser warning/alarm — pre-alarm (cht) between Ac-AE and Ac, then alarm (CHt) when Ac is exceeded and refrigeration stops (manual reset)
Internal clock (RTC) alarm — clock fault; reset by setting the time
