What does Coreco dA mean?

On the Coreco controller (Dixell XW30/XW60/XW70), dA is the door-open alarm, raised by the door-switch digital input after the doA delay. When it clears, the compressor and fans restart per the rrd/odC settings.

Symptoms

  • Display shows dA
  • Buzzer sounds after the doA delay
  • Rising cabinet temperature while the door is open
  • Fans/compressor may stop while the door is open (per odC)

Common causes

  • Door left open beyond the doA delay
  • Door not closing fully / misaligned seal
  • Door switch stuck or faulty
  • Door-switch wiring fault
  • Incorrect i1F/i2F door-switch or doA configuration

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Close the door

dA clears when the door is closed; shut the cabinet door fully and confirm the alarm clears and outputs restart.

  2. 02

    Inspect the door and switch

Check the door closes and seals, and that the door switch reports closed when shut.

  3. 03

    Check the door-input parameters

Verify the digital input is set as a door switch and the doA delay is appropriate.

When to call a professional

If the door is closed and the seal is sound but dA will not clear, the door switch or its wiring is likely faulty; have a qualified technician test/replace it. Electrical access is reserved for qualified personnel.
