What does Coreco EA mean?

On the Coreco controller (Dixell XW30/XW60/XW70), EA is the external alarm signalled through a digital input configured as EAL (i1F/i2F=EAL). The output is unchanged; the controller flags the condition reported by the external device.

Symptoms

  • Display shows EA
  • Buzzer sounds
  • An external device wired to the digital input has signalled a condition

Common causes

  • External device wired to the digital input signalled an alarm
  • Digital input contact changed state per its polarity (i1P/i2P)
  • Fault in the connected external device
  • Incorrect i1F/i2F (EAL) or did delay configuration
  • Wiring problem on the digital input
