What does Coreco HA mean?
On the Coreco controller (Dixell XW30/XW60/XW70), HA is the high-temperature alarm: the cabinet temperature measured by the alarm probe has gone above the alarm limit (AND above the ALU maximum-temperature threshold), after the ALd alarm delay. Outputs are unchanged; regulation continues while the alarm is signalled.
Symptoms
- Display shows HA (alternating with temperature)
- Buzzer sounds and the alarm relay activates
- Cabinet running warmer than the intended set point
- Risk to product if the high temperature is sustained
Common causes
- Frequent or prolonged door openings
- Dirty condenser or restricted airflow reducing cooling
- Recent defrost or heavy/hot product load (within the alarm-bypass time dAo)
- Refrigeration fault (low charge, failing compressor/fan)
- Alarm threshold ALU / delay ALd set too tight
Diagnostic steps

Confirm the high-temperature condition
HA means the alarm probe read a temperature above the ALU limit for longer than the ALd delay. Note the displayed temperature to confirm.

Review the alarm parameters
Check ALU (max) / ALL (min), ALd (alarm delay) and ALC (absolute vs relative to set point), and remember the alarm is bypassed for dAo after power-up and after defrost.

Reduce heat loads and check cooling
Avoid prolonged door openings and hot product; confirm the condenser is clean and airflow unobstructed, since a dirty condenser keeps the cabinet above set point.
