Coreco LA Error Code
Dixell XW controller — low-temperature alarm
Source: Coreco_1592027610-xw60lt-xw60lrt-gb-r10-13022012_termostatos.pdf
What does Coreco LA mean?
On the Coreco controller (Dixell XW30/XW60/XW70), LA is the low-temperature alarm: the cabinet temperature measured by the alarm probe has gone below the alarm limit (AND below the ALL minimum-temperature threshold), after the ALd alarm delay. Outputs are unchanged; regulation continues while the alarm is signalled.
Symptoms
- Display shows LA (alternating with temperature)
- Buzzer sounds and the alarm relay activates
- Cabinet running colder than the intended set point
- Product over-chilling / freezing risk in a non-freezer cabinet
Common causes
- Temperature fell below the low-temperature limit
- Refrigeration over-cooling (control or compressor staying on)
- Alarm threshold ALL / delay ALd set too tight
- Control probe reading lower than actual

Diagnostic steps
Confirm the low-temperature condition
LA means the alarm probe read a temperature below the ALL limit for longer than the ALd delay. Note the displayed temperature to confirm.
Review the alarm parameters
Check ALU (max) / ALL (min), ALd (alarm delay) and ALC (absolute vs relative to set point), and remember the alarm is bypassed for dAo after power-up and after defrost.
Investigate over-cooling
Verify the control probe reading against a thermometer and confirm the compressor is not running past the set point.
When to call a professional
If LA persists once doors, loading, thresholds and (for high temp) a clean condenser are ruled out, a refrigeration fault may be responsible. Have a qualified refrigeration technician diagnose the sealed system; this work is reserved for qualified personnel.

Other Coreco Error Codes
Control probe (probe 1) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Evaporator / defrost probe (probe 2) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Condenser / product probe (probe 3) error — signal interrupted, short-circuited or incompatible probe
Immediate or delayed alarm from the multifunction digital input (external alarm)
Open-door alarm from the door-switch digital input
Low-temperature alarm — measured temperature below set point by more than parameter AL
High-temperature alarm — measured temperature above set point by more than parameter AH
Unit parameter reading (data) error — saved configuration data error
Operating parameter reading (data) error — manual reset
Defrost ended by timeout — last defrost stopped on maximum duration, not on temperature
Defrost running — status message shown during a defrost cycle (not an alarm)
Dirty-condenser warning/alarm — pre-alarm (cht) between Ac-AE and Ac, then alarm (CHt) when Ac is exceeded and refrigeration stops (manual reset)
