Coreco LA2
Dixell XW controller — condenser low-temperature alarm

What does Coreco LA2 mean?
On the Coreco controller (Dixell XW30/XW60/XW70), LA2 is the condenser low-temperature alarm: the condenser probe has fallen below the AL2 limit after the Ad2 delay. What happens to the compressor depends on the bLL parameter.
Symptoms
- Display shows LA2
- Condenser temperature below the AL2 limit
- Compressor behaviour depends on bLL
Common causes
- Condenser probe reading low
- Very low ambient temperature
- AL2 threshold set too tight
- Condenser probe fault
Diagnostic steps
- 01
Check the condenser probe reading
Compare the condenser probe against the actual temperature; LA2 means it fell below AL2.
- 02
Review AL2/bLL/Ad2
Confirm the condenser low-temperature parameters suit the installation and ambient.

When to call a professional
If LA2 reflects a genuine fault rather than a parameter/ambient issue, have a qualified refrigeration technician investigate; electrical access is reserved for qualified personnel.

IAImmediate or delayed alarm from the multifunction digital input (external alarm)
dOrOpen-door alarm from the door-switch digital input
LOLow-temperature alarm — measured temperature below set point by more than parameter AL
HIHigh-temperature alarm — measured temperature above set point by more than parameter AH
EEUnit parameter reading (data) error — saved configuration data error
EFOperating parameter reading (data) error — manual reset
EdDefrost ended by timeout — last defrost stopped on maximum duration, not on temperature
dFDefrost running — status message shown during a defrost cycle (not an alarm)
CHtDirty-condenser warning/alarm — pre-alarm (cht) between Ac-AE and Ac, then alarm (CHt) when Ac is exceeded and refrigeration stops (manual reset)
