What does Jeros AL 04 mean?

AL 04 means the thermal cut-out protecting wash pump 2 has tripped because the pump was overloaded. The manual notes the machine can continue at reduced operation. If the alarm reoccurs, the manual calls for an engineer.

Symptoms

• AL 04 shown on the operating panel display
• Machine keeps running at reduced operation (wash pump 2 out)

Diagnostic steps

1. 01

   Note that reduced operation is permitted

   Per the manual the machine can continue at reduced operation with AL 04 active — you are not forced to stop mid-service.

   Switch the machine OFF and then ON again when practical

   Power-cycle to reset the control and see whether the trip was transient.

   If AL 04 reoccurs, call an engineer

   A repeating wash-pump-2 overload needs service-level diagnosis per the manual.
